Both my old chars have had adv 5 from the start, they've already paid themselves off. I wouldn't train them on a new char though, 5-4 or 4-4 is the way to go.

Just because people tell you to train learning skills doesn't mean you have to do it. I'd be happy enough if they were scrapped though, I'll take my 20m sp across 5 chars and save a few months of skill switching.

Compared to Amarr you need next to nothing to be effective in Caldari. Just look at the 4 month old characters in ravens with 5.0 sec status running missions nonstop in high sec. we ran outta cowbell.
